Beatrice is a Clarendon-funded DPhil student in Migration Studies. She holds an MA in Human Rights & Humanitarian Action (summa cum laude) from Sciences Po Paris with a focus on migration.

Beatrice's DPhil project will explore the reception of Ukrainian refugees in Lithuania after Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Her research interests centre around the anthropology of the state, its affective power, memory, citizenship, nationalism, borders and gender. She focuses on (Eastern) Europe.

Before coming to Oxford, Beatrice spent over 4 years working in civil society and international organisations, and in the private sector, where she conducted research, managed projects, and facilitated trainings in the fields of human rights, gender, and urban security.

Beatrice is fluent in English, French, Lithuanian and Spanish, and has an intermediate level of Russian.
