Research interests: I am broadly interested in morality, relatedness and the bodily and affective negotiation of boundaries between the self and other in every day care practices. My DPhil research in Singapore examines the daily practices of paid and unpaid caregivers for the elderly in home and institutional settings. It explores how they rework kinship, personhood, and self through bodily and sensory practices, while navigating the moral and political worlds that shape their possibilities for action.

I have worked in trans-disciplinary and applied research settings and am interested in using collaborative craft and co-productive methodologies to embed greater equity and  impact in my research.
