Experience: I have extensive experience working with asylum seekers and refugees both in the UK and abroad – Greece and Bosnia, engaging directly with grassroot organisations to provide on-the-ground support to asylum seekers. I assisted closely with organisations in conducting UNHCR surveys to gather data on the needs and challenges of facilities in the camps. I have previously worked as an Employment and Integration Advisor, directly working with recently settled refugees, migrants, and asylum seekers with the right to work. I supported with accessing employment opportunities, further and higher education courses and navigating the housing market. I am currently serving as a Trustee for Conversation Over Borders, where I previously held the role of Advisory Board Member, contributing to insights on program development and organisational strategy.
