Dr Jordan Gorenberg

Jordan Gorenberg is a Health Services Researcher in the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences and a Postdoctoral Affiliate in the School of Anthropology and Museum Ethnography at the University of Oxford. He completed his DPhil in Anthropology at Oxford, examining online mental health communities on Reddit and the ways digital spaces shape experiences of support, illness, and care. His interdisciplinary research sits at the intersection of anthropology and health services research, using qualitative methods and evidence synthesis to investigate how people experience health, illness, and care across clinical, community, and digital settings. His broader research interests include digital health, mental health, primary care, social prescribing, and the role of social relationships and communities in shaping health and wellbeing.
