I am a postdoctoral researcher based at the University of Greenwich (School of Human Sciences) and at the University of Kent (School of Social Policy, Sociology and Social Research). My work focusses on the impact of groups and how they contribute to peoples’ attitudes and behaviours in different social, professional and political contexts. I am particularly interested how group dynamics shape experiences in the criminal justice system. My background is in social- and political psychology and I am working with CSSC members Dr Martha Newson and Professor Harvey Whitehouse on the ‘Righting Recidivism’ project to investigate the impact and mechanisms of a football-based prison intervention.
