I am an anthropologist and the former Colthart-Bagby Scholar in Anthropology at Exeter College. My DPhil thesis, which was based on field work in Port Harcourt, a city in south-eastern Nigeria, explored disputes concerning land rights among two local peoples: the Ikwerre and the Okrika. I currently teach anthropology to undergraduates at St. Peter's College and Keble College.
