Research Interests: My research engages with critical intersections of climate-change adaptation, infrastructure, and technology in the Faroe Islands. It seeks to understand processes of climate-change adaptation in the Faroese context, and engages with questions of power, resistance, and interrupted experience. Applying an infrastructural lens to the Faroese renewable energy transition, I investigate impacts on human-environment relations and reframe the Faroe Islands within global networks of adaptation, exploring the ways that adaptation can ripple along the network and impact Arctic and island communities worldwide.
