On the occasion of philosopher Jocelyn Benoist's visit to Oxford (Université Paris - Panthéon Sorbonne), we are delighted to invite you to a roundtable discussion on 1 May from 10.30am to 12.30pm at the main seminar room in 43 Banbury Road (SAME). The event is co-organized by the Maison Française and the School of Anthropology. On the previous day (30 April at 5pm), Jocelyn will also give a lecture at the Maison Française d'Oxford, entitled 'New Realism? On the Reality of Appearances' (more details here: https://mfo.web.ox.ac.uk/event/lecture-new-realism-reality-appearances-jocelyn-benoist). On 1 May, in the company of Jocelyn Benoist, Rosalie Allain, Morgan Clarke, Chihab El Khachab and Perig Pitrou will discuss the crossroads between philosophy and anthropology to answer the question: 'New philosophical tools to deal with the question of relativism?' The discussion will be followed by a sandwich lunch.
