Fangji 方剂 (Foumulae) for Causing Qihua 气化 (Qi Transformations)

陈赞育Chen Zanyu comes from a family with long history of Chinese Medicine and is whole heartily devoted to traditional Chinese medicine, philosophy, and culture. He believes the traditional system of medicine does not only help modern society to combat the disease, but also provides alternatives for solving modern challenges such as environmental crisis, keeping the practice of Chinese Medicine alive and further developing it. Zanyu Chen graduated from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 1992, obtained a bachelor’s degree of medicine and lectured in the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM) for 8 years. He is now resident in the UK, and founder and president of the Federation of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners (FTCMP), chief editor of the Journal of Chinese Medicine in the UK 英国中医. He believes Chinese Medicine should not be dismembered by making use specifically of its therapeutic methods, from the prescriptions of formulae (recipes) to needling and moxibustion, massage and boxing therapeutics. Without the theory of Chinese Medicine, acupuncture will no longer be a great art of healing. In recent years, by teaching at various schools of TCM, especially at the Dan Huang TCM Academy 丹黄书院, Professor Chen Zanyu works passionately for the transmission of the authentic medical system to the modern society, aiming to build up a bridge to connect the East and the West, the modern and tradition
