Research: I am a DPhil student researching variation in human intergroup interactions and moral beliefs about violence from an evolutionary perspective. For my project, I am using the Seshat Global History Databank to test hypotheses about how warfare intensity relates to moral ideologies, social complexity, and ecological context.

Other interests: Hominin evolution in the Pleistocene, archaeology of violence, cultural phylogenetics
