Associate Professor and Senior Researcher
Carlos Vargas-Silva is a member of Kellogg College and teaches in Oxford’s interdisciplinary graduate program in migration studies. He is also the associate editor of the journal Migration Studies.
An economist with particular expertise in quantitative data analysis, his research interests include the economic impact of immigration on migrant receiving countries and the link between migration (including forced migration) and economic development in migrant sending countries.
