Zoe Melvin joined the Institute of Cognitive and Evolutionary Anthropology in September 2017 as a research assistant for the PaleoPrimate Project. She is a primatologist with two years of experience collecting behavioural data from wild primates in South Africa and Nigeria and has a background in population genetics. She is interested mainly in primate behaviour and genetics and how this can be applied to questions of evolution and conservation.
