Hospital ethnography: a case from a non-western setting

Professor Shahaduz Zaman is currently a Professor of Medical Anthropology and Global Health at the Department of Global Health and Infection, University of Sussex, UK and the Co-Director of NIHR-funded project ‘Sciences for Severely Stigmatized Diseases (5S) Foundation.’

Prof. Zaman has an interdisciplinary background with degrees in medicine, public health and anthropology. He has been teaching and conducting medical anthropological research on diverse global health topics in various global settings and institutes in South Asia, Eastern Mediterranean and Africa for the last two decades.
