Visiting with the Ancestors: Blackfoot Shirts in Museum Space by Emeritus Professor Laura Peers and Alison K. Brown received honourable mention for the inaugural Council on Museum Anthropology Book Award. The award will be announced at the American Anthropological Association meeting this autumn. The Council on Museum Anthropology describes the book as 'an important example of museology practice, the power of objects and the need for more engagements with Native communities.'
