Grade 7: £31,604 to £38,833 per annum

The Institute of Cognitive and Evolutionary Anthropology (ICEA) seeks to employ a Postdoctoral Researcher for the Templeton World Charity Foundation (TWCF) funded project “Cognitive and Cultural Foundations of Religion and Morality”. This is a full-time role offered on a fixed-term basis until 31 January 2020. You will be based at the School of Anthropology and Museum Ethnography, University of Oxford.

You will be a member of the international project team involved in designing and implementing cross-cultural experiments. You will be identifying appropriate field sites, adapting experimental protocols, and collecting data. The position involves extensive travel.

You will have already completed your PhD in a relevant discipline, or be in the final stages. You will have substantial experience of designing and running psychology experiments. Your quantitative statistical skills and analysis skills will be demonstrable. We are also looking for someone with the communication skills to present data at conferences and meetings.
