We are deeply sorry to announce that our dear colleague, Marcus Banks (Professor of Visual Anthropology) has died. In the School we are all shocked and devastated by this terrible news. Marcus was a constant and reassuring presence in our department and it is difficult to imagine the School without him. To many of us, staff and students, he was a source of advice and support over the years, as fair-minded as he was wise.
Further information on how we will remember Marcus in the School will follow in due course.
