Dr Tenna Jensen

Post-doctoral researcher in history and ethnology at the SAXO-Institute, University of Copenhagen.

Research interests: Food culture and consumption in the 20th and 21st centuries; interdisciplinary research on human health.

Previous research includes: studies of long-term developments in food consumption in Denmark in the 20th century; analyses of the developments in socio-geographical food consumption patterns; investigations into qualitative developments of selected food products.

Tenna is currently part of the interdisciplinary research project Counteracting Age-Related Loss of Skeletal Muscle Mass (CALM), in which she investigates historical and present practices in the feeding of the elderly in the welfare state.
