Dr Paride Bollettin

I obtained the Bachelor's degree in History at the Università degli Studi di Padova, Italy (2005); the Master degree in Anthropology at Università degli Studi di Perugia, Italy (2007); and the PhD degree in Anthropology at Università degli studi di Siena, Italy (2011). My Doctoral thesis focuses on the production and multiplication of subjectivities among the Mebengokré-Xikrin People in Brazilian Amazon, and the human-not human relational webs associated to these.

I obtained a research fellowship at the Università degli Studi di Perugia, Italy (2011-2012); and a post-doctoral fellowship at the Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil (2012-2014), and I worked as Associate Professor at the Universidade federal do Oeste do Parà (2014-2015). In these institutions I made lecturers courses in the following topics: Indigenous Ethnology, Introduction to Anthropology, Anthropological Theory - Structuralism, Anthropological Theory - Contemporary Theories; and Anthropology of Nature. Main research interests are: Amazonian Indigenous People, Anthropology of human and not-human collectives, Anthropology of Science and Anthropology of the production of knowledge. I published 9 books and more than 15 articles and book chapters.
