The Journal of the Anthropological Society of Oxford (JASO) is a diamond access, peer-reviewed anthropology journal edited by a group of staff and students from the School of Anthropology and Museum Ethnography at the University of Oxford.

All contributions should be in English.

JASO (ISSN: 2040-1876) is a diamond open-access, peer-reviewed journal of anthropology. It is listed in the Directory of Open Access Journals and has passed their quality assurance tests (see JASO's DOAJ entry). It is also listed in The European Reference Index for the Humanities and the Social Sciences (ERIH PLUS, see JASO's ERIH PLUS entry). 

JASO is available as a free download under a Creative Commons license. Contributors will not be paid for their contributions and there is no Publication Fee (APC). As with the original JASO, our policy will be to accept articles of interest to anthropologists from any discipline and any part of the world. We therefore invite contributions in the form of articles especially. For information on book reviews see Notes for Contributors.
