Former DPhil student Nick Shapiro awarded the 2016 Cultural Horizons Prize for the best article in Cultural Anthropology

We're delighted to announce that Dr Nick Shapiro, a former DPhil student of the School, has been awarded the 2016 Cultural Horizons Prize for the best article appearing the previous year in Cultural Anthropology.

The Society for Cultural Anthropology presented the award to Nick (Chemical Heritage Foundation) for his article 'Attuning to the Chemosphere: Domestic Formaldehyde, Bodily Reasoning, and the Chemical Sublime', which appeared in Cultural Anthropology 30, no. 3 (2015): 368–93.
